Taylor Alison Swift was born in Reading, Pennsylvania and lives with her parents in Hendersonville, Tennessee. She always loved to sing and credits her grandmother, who is an opera singer, as one of her inspirations. Taylor was first signed to a record label at age 13 but wasn't happy with the label and walked away. She eventually signed to a new label and in 2006 released her first single 'Tim McGraw.' It quickly went up the charts and made the country world take notice. Since then she has had other top singles and has toured with Tim McGraw and Faith Hill. Taylor is currently working on a second album.
